Win the confidence of funders

Robust evidence changes the conversation with grant makers and investors.

Evaluations that inspire trust and follow-on funding

I thought you would like to know that today I had the final monitoring meeting for Net Equality with our grants officer and senior grants officer and they said that they were extremely impressed with the quality of the evaluation report and the process that led to it.

They thought it was very robust, thorough and honest and I thought I should let you know and thank you very much for all your work on this.

They were particularly impressed with the quality of the interview work and said they had so often come across interviewing that was very superficial and just there to get ‘good quotes’.

They said that all the learning we have done on the project will contribute greatly to the development of the next funding programme.

Punch above your weight

Through Makerble we’re able to present data far beyond what we’ve been able to do with the methods we used in the past. The data that we can present now makes us as an, albeit small organisation, able to present as a very responsible, medium-sized charity, that knows what it’s talking about, knows the people it’s working with and more importantly, can present that data to the funders or potential investors.

See your impact clearly

Bring every datapoint together and understand the change your programmes create.

Understand your impact

We are gathering a lot of data and information from across our programmes in the UK and internationally. But one of the issues we were having was clearly showing our impact and really thinking about how we mapped the change our programmes were having both in the UK and overseas. The process with Makerble has helped us to plan that and really look tangibly at the different stages of how we create impact and what our theory of change is.

Change the world faster

Makerble Impact Analytics allows us to look at our programmes through the lens of every datapoint – stats, surveys, stories, even other systems – so we can better understand the impact our programmes have on the people we work with.

Seeing the bigger picture

Makerble helped us turn our big vision into an actionable strategy. We now have a better understanding of the activities and projects we need to do in order to generate the impact we want to have.

Bring your reporting into one place

Less time gathering data means more time using it.

A good return on investment

I was looking for a tool that would enable the charities I work with to track and measure their impact. Makerble has a great look and feel, is easy to use and importantly, is cost effective for charities. Makerble makes it easy for staff to record data, produce case studies and identify areas of good practice. All the data is in one place, so it’s great for reporting.

Centralised information

I’ve found this tool as coordinator very useful as all my information is in one place and it is easy to pull off reports and update. All our projects that engage with the website are happy to keep using it and have found it easy to use and keep track of their projects.

Simplified reporting

I’ve been involved with Makerble now for 4-5 months now... I got involved because I was frustrated with using an impact measurement framework that was really clunky, didn’t enable us to tell stories, and didn’t report on the difference we were really making! … I’m really excited to be able to use Makerble in real time!

Give your team a tool they will use

Simple enough to pick up on day one, flexible enough to use anywhere.

Inspire partners to share progress

We went with Makerble because of the flexibility - particularly with participant and activity surveys which we can do on an iPad, on the bus on the way back from an event or over the phone; rather than on paper forms. Now there’s no paperwork.

Really excited to start using Makerble - I’ve used a lot of different systems over the years and can honestly say that yours is the most user friendly and intuitive one I’ve seen.

User friendly

Makerble is far more user friendly than the other impact software out there. The direction it is going in is exciting and just what our sector needs.

Free up time and reach further

Spend less effort collecting data and show the full reach of your work.

Work smarter

My resource is much more freed up, so I can apply myself to other things rather than collecting data.

The feedback we had is that everybody completely understands how to use it [Makerble], they find it really easy. And they use it in a very constant basis, so it’s something that they got in the habit of using and now it’s just normal for them to use it every time they do anything.

Open the door to new funding

So (due to using Makerble) we’re able to say that actually, we’re supporting a far wider number of people. And that has enabled us to reframe our offering for funding and attract funding for areas we’ve not been funded for before.

Advice and support that go beyond the software.

Practical advice

Following the session with Makerble - we realised we needed to get the word out to a wider audience and our current marketing techniques were not doing that. Following Makerble’s input we enhanced the quality of content on our social media platforms and are developing a platform for volunteers and supporters to be our campaigners.
